I went to Autozone today to order an oil pressure sending unit for the oil pressure gauge I'd installed in my car, and also a new bulb for the voltmeter gauge which I also installed, both in my new dual gauge pod which I installed on my window pillar. I wasn't really happy with the way the gauges I installed looked. My oil pressure gauge had a small crack in the glass face, and the face on my voltmeter looked like it had some moisture damage as the numbers on the face were faded and were hard to read and it was even more obvious when the lights in the gauges were on. I decided to see if they Autozone had any inexpensive 2 1/16 inch gauges that I could use to replace the ones I had just installed. And besides, the quality on these gauges was phenomenal, definitely making them worth the extra money ! I got the voltmeter gauge and the oil pressure gauge, which incidentally comes packaged with an electric oil pressure sending unit, so that took care of my problem of having to order the sending unit separately from autozone. I installed them right in the Autozone parking lot, all I had to do was pull out my old gauges, disconnect the wiring, then reconnect the wiring to my new gauges and slide them in place of the old ones. I didn't ...
